Using samples previously printed, I re-worked into them using the embelisher. The samples have various prints on them; wet prints, transfer paints, and wet print designs on top of already existing designs. In previous samples I experimented using the embelisher with fabrics that already had existing prints on them (they came to us that way). I likes the qualities it gave the fabrics; they looked weathered, thicker, and the embelisher gave me the ability to combine two fabrics- ever so lightly brings the colour of the fabric bonded to it up onto the design. Interestingly the samples with wet prints on them worked with bringing the fabric trough the print, but not the other way around- the printed design would not go through onto the plain fabrics. The last four images are of a transfer paint sample onto very thin polyester- the polyester snagged and creased while bonding to the below jersey material, im not to sure if it just looks messy or if it has added an interesting effect and 3d quality to the fabric.
